The two cast-iron ovens
are of equal size and are the largest of any Rayburn to date. The Rayburn
800 Series cookers take 30 minutes to heat up from cold, have self-cleaning
ovens and, because they use indirect heat, are kinder to food. Whereas some
other cookers dry food out, all Rayburn's seal the flavour and goodness and
ensure that food remains moist. The top oven is for roasting, baking,
grilling and everything else that requires a hotter temperature, while the
lower oven, which runs at a temperature 60% lower than the top oven, is
perfect for slower cooking.
